An insider’s guide to new and inspiring trends from the Nordic countries. Launched in 2014 in Tokyo, The Nordic Courier was a bi-monthly tablet magazine in Japanese featuring Nordic lifestyle. It offered both editorial and commercial content in an engaging and interactive digital format directly to the Japanese consumer.


As Digital Editor and founding team member at The Nordic Courier, my responsibility was to plan digital channels for launch, tell 'The Nordic Design' story to our audience, as well as create social media content to increase sales of the magazine. I was living in London and working in Copenhagen in a mixed virtual / in-house collaboration.

Oak – The Nordic Journal

Oak - The Nordic Journal, an international biannual bookazine featuring ambitious journalism and photography, Oak offers an intelligent perspective on the global resonance of Nordic culture – from art and design, to architecture, travel, food and more. Oak continuously pushes into new territory, with unrivalled stories about visionary people, design, ideas and spaces from around world.


As the Virtual and Freelance Social Media Manager, I was leading Oak's social media channels together with my team of copywriters. I was responsible for planning content, increasing followers and awareness across digital channels, covering events, and helping to drive sales for the print magazine. Oak's HQ is in Copenhagen, and I was working from London.


Fashion Future Awards - Decoded Fashion and W Magazine

A W Magazine and Decoded Fashion collaboration, The Fashion Futures Awards in London was a celebration of innovation in fashion and tech. It was launched in May 2015 in partnership with the British Fashion Council in London, before heading to New York for the first US edition. Judged by an elite panel of international experts, entries were judged on creativity, innovation, experience and consumer connection.


As the Marketing Executive and Social Media Manager, my main responsibility was covering the event across social media channels before and during the awards, including the press release, marketing report from the awards ceremony as well as following up with judges and winners. 


Decoded Fashion

At Decoded Fashion, we created a series of summits and event that bridge the gap between tech and fashion. Helping and exposing the fashion community to new ideas, demystify technology and foster creative partnerships between tech startups, designers, retailers and media professionals in highly interactive summit formats.
Events include top-level speaker session, live demonstrations, hackathons, mentorship sessions and fashion startup competitions in New York, London, Tokyo and Milan and a global networking series – DF Meetups – in 12 countries.


As the Marketing Executive and Social Media Manager, I was in charge of creating and implementing marketing strategies and tactical plans for Decoded Fashion Summits; generating leads for delegate sales and sponsorship sales as well as generating direct delegate revenue, and supporting the overall marketing strategy of Decoded Fashion through online and social media channels.



Threads is a new concept under SEED MEDIA, a London-based peer-to-peer marketing technology business that releases the power of people in social networks to generate tangible and measurable commercial returns for its clients and dynamic salient benefits for its users.

Seed Media’s toolset is applicable to any business seeking to grow value through the recruitment, engagement and activation of loyal and influential customers and fans. The company is actively building a presence in consumer brands, e-commerce, music, sports and TV.


As the Concept Development Lead and Fashion Specialist, I was engaged to find a way to utilise SEED Media's platform for the fashion industry. The answer was Threadrs; an influencers marketing tool to help brands as well as fashion and music bloggers. I was responsible for conceptualising the product and offering, including facilitating the prototype build, setting up all marketing channels, building a community of fashion and music bloggers, ...

nørm digital magazine, Concept project

nørm was a digital magazine concept aiming to bring the world closer to the great universe of Nordic fashion and luxury brands in the form of an iPad app. The app goes far beyond street style, digging deep into the Nordic fashion industry.

Here is a scope to the sort of content I managed to produce together with my international team (from Barcelona, London and Paris):

  • In depth fashion show coverage, from behind scenes till the runway, covered shows like Henrik Vibskov and Designers Remix
  • An unique coverage of award-winning Danish designer Freya Dalsjö (Visited her studio, covered her award's ceremony, as well as her fashion show)
  • Interviews with Danish fashion experts ( Eva Kruse, Dorrit Bøilerehauge) and American model Lindsey Wixson, about the elements of Scandinavia that make it so relevant today
  • A fashion feature made together with Elle UK of Hida Sandstrom (Stockholm based blogger)
  • Fashion shoot with Frederikke Sofie




As the Founder and Creative Director, I conceptualised nørm and assembled a team to help executive on my vision, including creating most of the content from scratch. Through my network, I managed to get access to the main fashion shows and leading figures in the fashion industry, who were subjects of our interviews, photoshoots, etc. In the end, I brought all of the content together and designed the app, including interactions.
